Mathieu van der Poel at the start of Scheldeprijs

Mathieu van der Poel will be at the start of Scheldeprijs on Wednesday 5 April. There, the runner-up of the 2023 Tour of Flanders will be the leadout of his teammate at Alpecin-Deceuninck Jasper Philipsen.

"A race in my own region is nice. Some extra race rhythm in the run-up to Paris-Roubaix is always good and besides, I'm looking forward to try to help our sprinter Jasper Philipsen, as I did in Tirreno-Adriatico", Van der Poel said.
